Good To Know You

storm

I woke up yesterday morning to a wonderful storm. The kind that flashes lightning through the clouds to light up the night and pours rain down to cleanse everything. The kind of storm I like to think only happens during monsoon season. And only in the desert. The electricity zinged through the air and made me wish I could sit out on the lawn and let the warm water drench me in those pre-dawn hours. Nothing beats a summer storm.

How would your character react to a storm?

I think the weather is so essential in my one story. It is my way of creeping out the characters. Cold winds, falling leaves, Snow. it all plays a part. Thanks Joyce

Thanks Joyce!
Anne would stand in it, No question about it.

Storms turn Drew on. :)

Sam, she finds the thunder a little nerve racking, seeing as how monsters are in all her dreams, things like thunder now freak her out. Though it used to not.

Great topic!

Jared would stand on the screen porch enjoying the storm.

There’s one I can think of right now that would probably be the one causing the storm. >.<

Storms! Fun topic to think about! :D

Neil grew up in the land of storms and hurricanes, so… no big deal. Stay home, make some coffee, and write some songs. He likes the rain. His sister Shanna would be the one to go stand in it.

Lexi… well, I’ve been trying to come up with an irrational fear for her (character I’m still getting to know. She’s kind of a pseudo-tough girl and needs some fear in her.) Thunderstorms and lightning… there’s an idea.

I want to write some stormy drabble now. :)

I think my character would react to a storm with shock and dismay… considering she’s in Egypt, and not during the rainy season. LOL! But that would be very interesting… a freak ‘out-of-season’ rainstorm… *ponders*
