Good To Know You

fridge

I just completed the semi-annual clean-out of the fridge (can you tell it’s on of my least favorite things to do?). I discovered some Tupperware that I’d forgotten I owned jammed at the back of the fridge behind the parmesan cheese and bacon bits. I also swiped off the caramel from the bottom shelf that by some scientific marvel was solid and gooey at the same time.

I could not quite force myself to rummage through the piles of condiments that have multiply faster than an alien force taking over the world. So we still have teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce, A-1, Worcestershire, Dijon mustard, spicy brown mustard, yellow French’s mustard, ketchup, mayo, and green hot sauce jumbled together.

What’s in your character’s refrigerator?

Oh, Sketch is like the QUEEN of the latte. She’s sleep deprived…. what with all the villainy by night and all :)

Fingernail polish and wine. Ok, that’s what used to be in my sister’s refrigerator when she was single. She ate out all the time.

It depends on the character . . .

Jared . . . pickles, pickles, and more pickles.

Jake . . . chardonnay and reisling, golden raisins, carrots, veggies of all kinds . . . he’s sort of a health nut.

Well, don’t have all day. Good question though, and one most writers probably don’t consider . . . well, unless you’re Janet Evanovich and she’s talking about Stephanie Plumb!

Yum! But cleaning the fridge… eek!

Neil’s health-conscious enough to have lots of veggies and such in the fridge, and a bottle of red wine for “those days.” :) He likes to cook, but he is a single guy, so there’s bound to be some leftover pizza and Chinese takeout tucked in the corner. And of course, a big carton of half-and-half. He couldn’t have a coffee addiction without it.

Lexi and Lindee… definitely some scary leftovers. They are totally the eat out type. Oh, and ice cream in the freezer. Lindee freaks if she doesn’t have at least two flavors stashed away.

LOL, we have the same fridge. :)

Sam does some of the shopping at her house and she has juice, Dr. Pepper, yogurt, mayo, mustard, and such. There’s always milk and fresh fruit.

Drew has a bottle of catsup and a loaf of wheat bread. She dumped her milk before she left home for Brazil.
