This one is hard for me cause I was never really that into music. But I think the first tape I bought was whatever Billy Joel tape had River of Dreams. I absolutely loved that song but I don’t even know if it was new at the time. I didn’t listen to the radio until I was probably in the 8th grade or so. Yeah…I’m a weirdo!

LOL. How did I know that New Kids would be your pick.

Well, I loved them back then too, but I was a Jordan Knight girl myself.

And my tape dates me. Mine was an eight-track of Donny and Marie Osmond and the song, A My Name Is Alice.

I jammed (heehee) to that song while I “cleaned” my bedroom! I sadly, still remember most of the lyrics.

No great story behind it. But it did bring a smile to my face thinking about it.

HAHA I remember I was REALLY young, like six or seven… and Michael Jackson came out with Billie Jean, and I fell in LOVE with it. I begged and begged for my mom to buy me the tape and she finally gave in. I still have it somewhere.
