If I lie calm and let my mind roam with my characters it usually overcomes any obstacles I was missing. Sometimes that means I was forcing them to do something they wouldn't do. And Sometimes it means they'd do something even more extreme. The silence inspires me to fill the space. I usually need stillness when I’m struggling with my writing.
