Such an interesting topic — something I’ve never thought of as my daughter is only 4. I do have a step-daughter who’s older, but she reads more than writes…
How cool that you’re able to witness a little author-in-the-making!! And I’m sure your work will be just as popular. You’ll go down as the best mother/daughter team in history

My 7 year old son now wants to be an author, and ironically, my constant efforts to break into print have inspired my grandma to return to writing.
I can’t say how much that warms my heart.

I love this post!

I have two little girls who want to be authors and one, 11, who not only always has her nose in a book, but is also writing not only poems and short stories, has started her own novel.

I think that’s the greatest joy, know we’ve inspired someone else.

That’s wonderful your daughter loves writing. Embracing that creative side is great for children.

Right now my writing mostly influences my family. Not many have read what I’ve written. I hope once my book is published it will influence many. Or at least touch them in some way. I’d love that!
