Since I’m in the middle of shopping for an agent, I found this information timely and helpful—and pretty fun. Plus, it’s a good reminder that publishing takes time, a thick skin as well as know-how.

Lilith didn’t go into great detail about this, but she did touch on it when she mentioned Twitter.
Along with all the other things she mentioned, a platform is huge. Build it up! Agents want to know you and your book are marketable. Get your stuff out there =)
