Firsts on Friday

Today’s first is one that you can use to write about you or your character.

First job, tell us about the feelings you had, how it felt to make your own money or the way your character would feel.  Have fun!

I am telling you sometimes I could scream! I had my whole comment written up and ready to post, then my little girl pushed something on my computer and it is lost. i will try to re-post it later. I have to go study for now! I look forward to reading all your comments!

I am starting a new job of Monday. It started me thinking about my first job and I actually posted about that on my family blog (crazy that we’re on the same page!)

I started working when I was 14. My first job stripping down furniture for Robin’s upholstery shop. Perhaps the best job ever. I got to work with my best friend, Justin, listen to music, and occasionally play hookie to jam with Robin on the violin. I learned the importance of hard work and experienced the thrill of accomplishing something worthwhile.

Oh the grocery store! It was ever so fun.

Now that I think about it though I can’t come up with anything creative to say…
