But my latest complication was not of my own invention. I've been spinning around an idea for the NANOWRIMO that begins tomorrow. The story: A workaholic career girl gets big promotion heading new corporate division. She wants to take it, but wants to arrive as a more "whole and balanced" person. To do that she has to face her personal demons. The failed relationships, the love affair with food, the flirtation with drugs and alcohol. This gal has a bunch of stuff to get through and all of a sudden I find she's got a sister. Not just a sister, but a fraternal twin sister. Where did she come from? I have no idea. But I know she's the total opposite and has a way of stirring the pot and waking all the demons. My muse must have thought the story wouldn't be interesting without her to make things complicated.
